After-Capture Actions

After-Capture Actions define what Snapr should do when a screenshot or recording finishes. They are designed to move a capture into the next step of your work quickly: review it, share it, or continue editing it.

Choose a completion action#

Open Settings → Capture → After capture completes and choose the behavior that fits your workflow:

  • Floating preview
  • Open editor
  • Open captures folder
  • Open plugin actions
  • None

The action applies after a successful capture. You can still use the floating preview to copy, reveal, edit, or run another action.

Fast sharing workflow#

For quick team updates, use the floating preview to copy the image, reveal the file, or create a shareable link. For repeatable workflows, open plugin actions automatically and choose the post-process step immediately after each capture.

For a quiet workflow, choose None and use Capture History when you need to revisit a result. For a review workflow, choose Floating preview. For a repeatable post-process workflow, choose Open plugin actions.
