Clipboard Capture
Clipboard Capture lets you bring an image from another app into Snapr without saving it to disk first. It works well with system screenshot shortcuts, design tools, and chat applications.
Capture from the clipboard#
- Copy an image to the system clipboard.
- Open Snapr's capture mode and choose Clipboard.
- Check the preview in the capture bar.
- Press Enter or click Capture.
If the clipboard does not contain an image, Snapr tells you that there is nothing to capture.
Open copied images automatically#
To be notified when another app copies an image:
- Open Settings → Capture.
- Turn on Open detected clipboard images in Snapr.
- Copy an image in another app.
Snapr shows a small notification with the image preview. Choose where to continue, or dismiss the notification. The setting is optional and can be disabled at any time.
Continue working#
Clipboard captures follow the same save, history, preview, editing, and plugin workflow as screenshots. You can also enable automatic clipboard copying so a finished capture is ready to paste elsewhere.
